The 5 things are basically a philosophy of ministry for South Shore Church. They help us answer the question, “What kind of church are you?” We are the kind of church that does just 5 things:
We Worship Together.
We Live in Community.
We See Needs and Meet Needs.
We Pray.
We Make Disciples.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we are currently not offering childcare for any age group.
We are not able to offer childcare yet but we’ve set up the sanctuary with tables and chairs, activity sheets, and individually packaged snacks as an option if that works better for your family. As always, your children are welcome to join you in the service!
Yes we do! We encourage our students to worship with us on Sundays, to connect to a local Young Life ministry, or to participate in one of our Core Seminars and/or Discipleship Groups during the week.
There are a lot of ways for someone to get more involved in our church. You could become a member, volunteer to serve, attend a Core Seminar, or get to know people in a Discipleship Group. If you’d like to learn more about any of these activities, please email Pastor Kent and/or find a pastor to talk with the next time you’re worshipping with us.

In October of 2019 Redemption Church and South Shore Baptist Church merged to become one new church: South Shore Church.
