How We Live Out the 5 Things

Pray & Fast
Following Jesus starts with depending on Him. We pray because we believe God hears us, and we fast because some things only loosen their grip when we say no to ourselves and yes to Him. At South Shore, prayer isn't a last resort — it's where everything begins.

Gather Together
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone. Every Sunday we gather to worship as a church family and throughout the week we gather to do life with people who truly know us. So, join us for a Sunday service and a Community Group, because we know life is better when we follow Jesus together.

Serve Joyfully
Jesus didn't come to be served, but to serve — and we get to follow His lead. Every one of us has something to offer the body, and serving isn't a box to check; it's a joy and a privilege. At South Shore, there's a place for you to use your gifts.

Live Generously
Everything we have is a gift from God, held with open hands. We give our time, our resources, and our finances — not out of guilt or obligation, but because a generous God has first been generous with us. Generosity is simply what it looks like to trust Him.

Love Our Neighbors
The good news of Jesus was never meant to stop with us. We love our actual neighbors — the people next door, at work, at school, across the street — with the same love we've been shown. At South Shore, this is how the gospel leaves the building.
